Dressing Services are a lifeline to the Transgendered Community. Dressing Services are great for developing and honing ones female persona. Generally, they are staffed by a female team who between them can assist with make up and make over’s, hair and hair styling, nails and femme beauty treatments, clothes and wardrobe, shopping trips, outings and events, deportment and speech, photography and a myriad of other things needed to enable you to be passable and convincing a women in the real world. In other words, a guide and mentor to all things female. Often TG’s have female partners but, this relationship is sometimes too close for help or assistance. Sometimes cross dressing is a secret hidden from the partner. There are many other reasons too! Outside professional help and services is needed.
Most dressing services are a one stop – shop facility. All services are generally under one roof. It is not easy to go from male to female, to look convincing and blend in with the outside world. Lots of often expensive mistakes get made. Wrong purchases made.etc, etc!! Totally wrong advice given!! Wrong products sold!! Professional help and advice is needed to solve, sort, develop and blossom.
Femesque is unique. Femesque was set up because of a friendship between Lynne and me. She ran a very successful, classy and sophisticated hair and beauty business and had helped with my wigs for years. Lynne was very supportive to Amanda and asked lots of TG related questions. After a few years she approached me with some ideas about developing and helping the transgender market. Femesque was born. She and her team offer a fantastic service for the cross dressing community. I wish she was operating years ago. Femesque has a wealth of talent.
