Put First things First!! ……..

By Yvonne:

“…the journey of crossdressing is like climbing a hill and finding, upon reaching the top, another, higher hill waiting in the distance. We are always driven forward by the promise and the mystery of what lies on the other side.”

I expect many of you feel like this most days?! ……………….. However the beauty of the feeling of crossdressing keeps you doing it as often as possible right?

I know that many people, who are not crossdressers would also say this, so what I am trying to say is that you are not alone!

Yvonne also goes on to say that:

Crossdressers are anything but typical men. We may live ordinary lives, but we live them in an extraordinary way.”

And I happen to agree here. Although I would love to see more of you out in the “normal” (if you can loosely say normal!) world! Going shopping for instance, and then who knows, maybe we would think of crossdressing as “Normal”

As we are on the subject of “Normal” I would just like to say that I have recently read an article that states that as high as 85% of families are dysfunctional! So that leaves 15% as Normal!!…………… please correct me if I am wrong, but is dysfunctional not classified as normal then as normal is the minority here!????!!! – food for thought!!

What is normal any way??

Yvonne goes on to say:

“What I do know is this: living almost all of one’s life with crossdressing is an ongoing process of moving between fantasy and reality.

The fantasy is what we think we are capable of, what we think we can become, who we think we can be. These fantasies become reality by taking small steps, living now while dreaming about the future. When we are young, many of us fantasized about being turned into women, through some technology or magic, or being given the power to transform ourselves back and forth between male and female at will.”

If this is you, why not make the fantasy reality? At least for more of the time anyway! What is the worst thing that could happen? What is it that keeps you returning to the man you are and not the woman that you want to be? Maybe there is a way? Maybe there is not. Who do you have that you can discuss this with? And not judge or tell you what they think………………..

Stephen Coveys Third habit of his book, Seven Habits of Highly effective People:

“Put first things first”……………..Do not neglect what is important but is not urgent. Crossdressing is important but not urgent,

As the German Writer Wolfgang von Goethe says:

“things which matter most must never be at the mercy of things which matter least.”

So what matters most to you? And why are you not spending more time doing it? Let’s get together and brainstorm how you can get to do the things you are most passionate about more often. Those most important things……………………..

Spring is on its way so maybe next time I will write about the fashionable colours of clothes and make up for spring??

Hope to see you all soon at the Cheese and Wine evening on the 27th March.

If you have not read Yvonne’s story, and want to read more of “why do we cross dress?” find it here:
