So wonderful to meet so many lovely ladies at the cheese and wine evening last week. Thank you for welcoming me! 

YOLO – you only live once!! I know it’s a well used acronym, however it was voiced in the independent last week and it is so true!!

According to some poles, 20% of men have cross dressed. I am not a Doctor; however I have read that your brains are hardwired so that when you wear women’s clothes your brains release neuro-transmitters (dopamine’s and serotonins) which produce sensations of well beings, pleasure and sexual gratification, along with self-identity. It affects the reward centres of your brains, so that it mimics an addiction reaction.

So tell me this, why are you not doing more of it??

It’s all about the brain hey?! I am sure you know this, and is one of the reasons why you dress. Talk to me about the other reasons.

So February is already here. Be proactive as Stephen Covey would say! Habit one from the book, Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Go out and get what you want. What do you want? How will you attain that job you want? Or that dress you want, or even fit back into that dress you love! Or to have the confidence to dress and walk tall out in public! You cannot change the ignorance and lack of education people have, however you can change the way YOU deal with them. No-one can make you feel inferior without your permission.

Your attitude, confidence and self belief is key.

Valentines Day is fast approaching. Legend has it that Saint Valentine was imprisoned for marrying soldiers who were forbidden to marry, and on his execution day he wrote down “from your Valentine” as a farewell to his lover, and that is where the quote comes from in all the cards.

Do you know what your loved one wants to do for that evening? Do you say how the day is so commercialized? Or flowers are so expensive on that day, or I don’t have the time to buy a card…… and anyway it’s all far too commercialized!!
