Hello Ladies. Did you have a great Valentines? Or would you have done it differently? Stephen Covey’s second habit from his amazing book, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, is “to start with the end in mind”… Think about what you really want to happen next year, and make sure it does! 🙂
Not just for Valentines day, but for anything you want to achieve. Have you ever said, yes, I must go to the Enigma Ball or to Pink Punters, and not made it there through lack of planning? You say that you do not have time or that you are working too long hours and are too stressed to make plans! Coaching with me, you can do all this, you can do anything.Whatever it is you aspire to, you can do it!!
Lent is here and Easter is fast approaching. Have you given up something to make you feel a better person for Lent? Does it make you feel better? If it doesn’t, why are you doing it? We all like to conform in some way to society I am sure, but if it does not make you truly happy why should you do it? All I say is, if it is not hurting anyone else, really physically hurting someone, then why should I not do what I want? Lets think of the Frank Sinatra lyrics for one minute……. the lyrics of “My Way”………..
“For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!”
If Frank can do it, so can YOU! :))
Are you doing it your way with pride and happiness? If not, why not? Find out what is stopping you from living your best life and change the path you are walking ….. simple I hear you say! but its not that simple for me! If this is the case, send me an email and we can sit down and work out what is within your control and what is not………
email me at [email protected] and we can discuss a plan.
I have just come across an exciting article in Edge, San Francisco, California Now I know this is from the USA, however it is still exciting news as you are getting great publicity.
NY bans discrimination against transgender state employees
Governor David Paterson received a standing ovation at the LGBT Community Center in lower Manhattan earlier today as he signed an executive order to ban discrimination against transgender state employees.
“For far too long… the transgender community has had to wait for the same equality others enjoy based on employment,” he said. “That ends today.”
Such a positive note to end on.
Have a wonderful February and see you in March. 🙂
